Read all about my adventures hiking in Springbrook National Park!! Also see lots of shots captured throughout my hike in the park!

Leaving at 9:30 Saturday morning of September 28th, the International Studies Abroad team and myself took an hour bus ride to Springbrook National Park. Upon arriving, the group and I spent the following 25 minutes hiking our first trail of the day, Natural Bridge. It was a short, yet lovely hike that ended with the Glowing Cave. Once complete, we then headed to the next location, Purling Brook Falls. The hike was said to take about 45 minutes, however, during the midst of the hike a hail storm appeared out of nowhere which rushed much of the group. Nevertheless, knowing that hail storms typically last 5-20 minutes, my friend, Jessi, and I stayed back and waited for the storm to pass. Not even five minutes after the rest of the group had left, the storm had disappeared leaving behind blue skies. Jessi and I decided to take advantage of the moment and went swimming in the fresh water of Purling Brook Falls while also shooting many shots of our fun.

Once Jessi and I were done with our fun we headed to complete the hike. About 25 minutes later, Jessi and I had made it back with the group, which we then set off to the Canyon Lookout. Once there, we spent about 10 minutes looking upon the city we call home, Brisbane.

Thank you for reading!! I hope you enjoyed it!! xo
