Day with the YOT Club

Hey Loves! This past weekend has been a fun one, filled with a lot of fun sights and new meetings. So much so that I wanted to share this experience. Over a month ago my friend, Jessi, and I were working on in a coffee shop when my professor joined. In the midst of our conversation my professor mentioned the YOT Club, interested, Jessi and I questioned about the YOT Club. Quickly we decided we wanted to take part in the fun event seeing how highly my professor talk about it. We immediately looked for and purchased tickets.

After a month of waiting, the day came. That morning, Jessi and I were found a bit worried seeing as it was raining profusely with lighting and thunder that followed. Nonetheless, in hopes that the storm would pass we began to get ready. Once all dressed up, we headed out to bay, which seemingly made a 15 minute ride into 40 due to traffic. Nonetheless, we eventually arrived.

Boarding the boat we were welcomed by the staff and the DJ playing a mix of 2000's songs. Thrilled, Jessi and I grabbed a sangria and made our way around the YOT. Once toured, we found a comfortable spot on the front of the YOT were we stayed for most of the ride. The following five hours was filled with dancing, waving to boaters passing by, and enjoying the views of the Gold Coast. Jessi and I also people watched and enjoyed coming up with stories of people we that caught our eye. In the end, Jessi and I were sad to returned to land, but celebrated by grabbing pizza and watching movies the rest of the night.
